Overview

Set in Montmartre hill, The Musée de la Vie Romantique recreates the Eurpean historic romantic period. The building used to be a hotel built in 1830 and hosts 18th and 19th portraits, jewelry, and furniture. There is also a tearoom, children's activities, and a garden.

Due to stairs and the presence of some obstacles, only the ground floor is accessible for people with reduced mobility. The temporary exhibition rooms are accessible. For an extra fee, French Sign Language tours are available for permanent collections for people with hearing disabilities. Service dogs are allowed and you can find a braille guide on the reception desk.
